Jim Basker

Chairman

Jim was co-opted on to the Parish Council in September 2018. He has lived in Walditch since 2013 after taking early retirement from working in the City of London in 1997. For several years he chaired the Eastney Neighbourhood Forum in Portsmouth. He is an active member of the University of the Third Age and the Dorset Wildlife Trust.

Chris Addis

Chris is a retired Managing Director who, in company with his business partner, owned an international company which manufactured engineering teaching equipment for higher education and also research and development products for the food and pharmaceutical industries. In his community roles he has been chair of governors at two junior/primary schools and is currently a trustee and treasurer at the Bridport Arts Centre.

Martin Warne

Martin has lived in Bridport for over 35 years and has two children who both grew up here.  He was a Social Worker and has managed Child Protection and Children's Emotional Well Being services in the Council and NHS. He is a Chair of Governors in a local school and volunteers for local groups in the town. He likes to keep fit, music and reading

Graham Styles

Since retiring from the Diplomatic Service and moving to Bothenhampton Graham has been an active member of the U3A, participating in Creative Writing, Political Discussion and Art History Groups. He is also involved in the Bridport Youth and Community Centre and the Royal Voluntary Service - Bridport Home Library team.  Graham has been active on local planning issues involving regular correspondence with local residents, Dorset Council and the local MP.
